Our research on Discovery of complex anomalous patterns of sexual violence in El Salvador is one of fifteen data innovation projects featured by UN Women and Global Pulse in the report “Gender equality and big data: Making gender data visible” (pg. 14). The goal of this report is to analyze how data can contribute towards achieving the 5th sustainable development goal: achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls.
